Sa-Sa's Visit

Aunt Sa-Sa with Jacob and Zack
We had a great visit with Julie's sister Sara this weekend. It, of course, was cold and wet here the whole time! We went to the Air and Space Museum on Friday and checked out all of the airplanes and rockets. Then Saturday, Sara went to Jacob's soccer class and worked with him, while Dean stood on the sidelines and watched. We visited with the Yohos for a bit before lunch. Then after lunch, Sara and I (and everyone else in Northern VA) went to do some shopping at the big outlet mall here. We took her back to the airport on Sunday after church. Jacob was sad on the way there and finally told me, "But we didn't have much time with her!"

We look forward to our next visit with Aunt Sa-Sa which Jacob thinks will be next October! (He can't get it in his mind that we might see Sara in another month!)

Everything else here is going pretty well. Glad to have the sunshine back for a few days. Julie is feeling pretty good (most of the time) - 18 weeks pregnant tomorrow. She just hosted a small Mug-n-Muffin social this morning for the women at her MOPS table. Yum!

I had an absolute blast visiting you guys! The boys were so good and were so much fun, and it was great to go shopping with you and watch football with Deano (and have him fix my fantasy football team!). It was great to see the Yoho clan too - it's been way too long! I miss you guys already and can't wait to see you again soon.

Great to hear that the visit with Sa-Sa was so much fun. I thought about you guys all day long on Saturday as I walked around downtown DC with my WWII veteran in all that rain-what a bummer!!! Oh well, we had a great time in spite of the weather just like you guys. Love-Mom/Nana
