Well, we have had our first Urgent Care visit for trauma! Jacob was a little wild in the bathroom and smacked his face on the porcelain sink downstairs. He erupted into his usual, "Waaahh! It hurts so badly!!!" I knew it hurt and picked him up to look at it. Yep, lots of bleeding! So, I called my sister-in-law who came over and picked up Zachary and helped me figure out where to take him. Off to Urgent Care Jacob and I went. Unfortunately there was too much swelling to use the super-glue, so he got 3 stitches. The numbing shot about sent him over the edge though... Poor guy. He seems to be doing fine now.

Poor little Jacob! Reminds me of a little tap dancer who crashed through the glass tabletop while practicing for recital. Did you show Jacob the scar from your stitches? Love, Mom
Nana was so sad to hear that her little energizer bunny hurt himself. All I wanted to do last night afer talking to Jacob on the phone (and hearing in his own sad words what had happened) was to get in the car and drive up there to give him a big hug. Love-Mom/Nana
mom, i did show him my scar. he was interested, but i think promptly forgot when the shot appeared...
