Dean returned safely home a week ago from his work trip to Afganistan. He and his brother-in-law Ryan were gone for 2 weeks. It went very well and we were very thankful to have him home 4 days early! (He surprised us!) So last Tuesday, we had a Family Day Out. We had a picnic on the Mall b/t the Monument and the Capitol, then went to the Air and Space Museum.

We are soooooo glad that Daddy is home, too. Love the pictures and the updates from your outings-looks like everyone had a great time at the apple orchard and then downtonw DC. Lots of love to all-Mom/Nana
