"I love roller coasters!"

I told Jacob that we were going to buy season passes for Busch Gardens today and he asked what it was. I told him it's where the roller coasters are and he jumped up and down, and yelled, "Yay, Mama!! I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!" and then gave me a huge hug. It was really sweet and made me even more excited for our season passes. The video doesn't even remotely capture that moment, but is still cute. It turned out to be cheaper to renew our passes then buy them on base and I also found out that my military car decal had expired over a year ago. So now when I go on base I have to sign in to receive a day pass since the Coast Guard won't let me get a decal despite the fact that they have sent my husband on deployment! I'm a little annoyed at this lack of family support. Well, maybe alot. But check out the cute video to think about happier things...

We haven't had the healthiest food day. I whisked the kids out of the house to get Skipper to his grooming appt before they had any breakfast. So, as a treat we bought donut holes. We love donuts! Lunch was McD's and our afternoon was a free Rita's Italian Ice which left the boys with red stains around their mouths and all the way down Zack's clothing (when he poured out the melted part to see what it would do). Now out of maternal guilt I'm making them eat broccoli with their grilled ham and cheeses!

News on the home front: our buyer experienced an unexpected problem in the sale of his home, but as of this afternoon they are still planning on closing on our house as planned on 3/30. On the other hand, my realtor has arranged 2 showings to very interested other buyers. This is not fun and quite stressful, in fact. I am never selling a house again. I hope we're very happy with our next house!

This is from the yesterday when Jacob and Zachary were riding the bike together.

Here's Skipper's new do...

Now we're off for bedtime and praying for a smooth one!

I'm excited that Jacob's excited. I remember how much you girls enjoyed Carolwinds when you were little and I'm happy for the boys. It's a beautiful day in South Carolina, wish you were here. Love, Mom/Nana
