We have so much to be thankful for! A gracious God who loves us, wonderful family who supports us, fabulous friends who stand by us, and a country that provides freedom for its citizens! We went to Yorktown to spend Thanksgiving with Dean's parents.

On Thanksgiving Day, we ran in a Turkey Trot in Newport News. It was so nice to run into old friends, Shelby Scott, Karen Bean and Krista Wetzler! This was the first time Julie has ever run in a 5K and also the 1st time Julie and Dean have ever run anywhere together. Many thanks to the Stevenson's for watching our children while we ran!

The home school preschoolers put on a Thanksgiving program for us. Jacob and James were our Narrators. Zachary was Squanto. It was very cute!

My friend, Lee, crochets these precious hats and sells them. This is her beanie hat with interchangeable flowers. I'm trying to help her get started selling them and with such a cute model, how can you resist??? :)

Looks like you captured all the highlights of a fabulous family Thanksgiving-I loved reliving the memories as I read your blog this morning. As for the hat-I couldn't resist buying one from that cute little model if she didn't already own one. Love-Mom/Nana
Love the pics! Can't wait to see you guys at the end of this month!
