Homeschool Preschool: Weather Projects

We recently finished our preschool unit on weather.  At the end of the unit, Jacob had a weather project to complete and present during show-and-tell.  He chose hurricanes and he had to learn weather facts about hurricanes and make a poster about them. Jacob and Daddy hunkered down in the office for a couple of hours one evening and created a great presentation!  Jacob did all of the writing on his poster, picked out the pictures to put on it, and was able to explain to our preschool 1) hurricane names, 2) the eye of the hurricane, 3) hurricane categories, and 4) how to track a hurricane using Hurricane Dean (2007) as an example.

Zachary brought our digital thermometer for show-and-tell.  What a cutie he is!

The videos are a little long at 2 and 2 1/2 minutes, but the grandparents will love them!
