Jefferson Memorial
On Saturday, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went downtown to explore. We had a picnic lunch on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial, walked around the Tidal Basin to the Washington Monument (no tickets were left to go up in it), then down to the War World II Memorial, and back to the Jefferson Mem. I know that Papa Joe would have loved to have explored the WWII Memorial with Jacob and Zachary. You had a gorgeous day to play "tourist" downtown. Love-Mom/Nana
