5 Reasons I'm Loving Life This Week:

1) My new 1st grader, Zachary: After a few days of The Fever, he finally started school on Thursday. 

Bed head and PJs for the First Day of the 2013-14 School Year since he had a fever.

 This week we also had Zack's 1st fall ball game!  One inning he played catcher.  He can barely see out of that big helmet, but he really likes this position.  He looks very comfortable doing it too! 

2) Jacob: my 2nd grader who sat and giggled with me as we watched Trailers for Despicable Me 2.  He's gonna love this!

 

3) Lydia:  I let Lydia paint a picture one day and she loved it.  She's insisted on painting almost every day, so I set the easel up on the deck!

If I'd had a sign for her, this could have been her "1st day of Preschool"!

4) Eliza: She will not be overlooked!  Possibly because of her style. 

 

She pulls a chair to the kitchen counters.  All. The. Time.

5) Anna Kate: Love this baby girl.  She's spoiling me.  Sleeps 12 hours at night most nights.  [Probably not tonight since I've just said that out loud.  But it's been a good run!]

This thumb-sucking thing is not normal behavior, but she's coping well when she loses her paci.
