1) Jacob: poor thing has had The Fever (which has hit everyone except Anna and I) so he's been home all week. But before The Fever he had his first soccer game of the season and scored 3 of 5 goals with 1 assist. We have an awesome coach who really believes the kids should have fun while learning a few skills. We even have a ref this year and he was really awesome too, basically coaching from the field while gently making calls.

2) Zack: really misses his brother at school and on the bus. Best buds! He had his 1st Tiger Cub Scout meeting this week. He also had a lot of fun at Saturday's LL game earning an RBI with his hit!
3) Lydia: she had her 1st day of Ballet at Ms. Linda's and her 1st day of preschool at Ms. Mommy's. Her ballet instruction, I'm sure, went more smoothly, but she's asked me to sing "the Daddy song" all week so I'm going to mark that up as a win.

4) Eliza: This girl is just precious. And she knows it!
5) Anna Kate: just when I think I can't possibly change another diaper, she gives me the sweetest look.

No need to remind yourself that you are a good mom because the fact is you are an AMAZING mom!!! Had tears in my eyes as I looked at the picture of Lydia at her first day of ballet...she is growing up way too fast.
