"May I please have ... ?"

I can't remember exactly what Jacob wanted this morning, but first he asked me for it and when I said, "no", he rephrased the questions using his manners that we've been working on. That didn't work either, but I was so proud of him that I gave him a sticker!

We've been busy since our last blog update. Dean took Jacob to had his first gymnastics lesson for this session on Monday. (Hence why I have pictures.) Zack had his first swim lesson on Tuesday - no pictures since I was by myself for this one. On Monday night, we had a little dinner party for our friend Erika visiting from in Indiana (here for work). It was so great to see her! There were lots of kids there that night - these 4 below eating their chocolate cupcakes - and 2 other babies! A little crazier than usual in the Milne home!

(R to L) Jacob, Meredith, Zachary, Alex (I'm not sure whose legs those are!)

This morning we went to MOPS, after charging our battery which died for unknown reasons. Jacob knows alot about dead batteries and did well waiting for it to charge. In our meeting, we learned about the different circles and seasons of friendship. It was a great moment for me to reflect on my wonderful friendships! And best of all, the boys did great in nursery - praise the Lord.

We've got a busy few days ahead: Fall Fest at church (Fri), Elmo Live (Sat), Dean's next patrol (Mon), and a day visit from Nana Milne (Mon). Stay tuned for exciting Milne Moments!

Looks to me like you have used your month together to make some incredible family memories. I know that the boys will miss Dean when he leaves on Monday but I am sure that the have LOVED having him home the past month. Can hardly wait to see my boys and their mommy-:)-on Monday. Big hug for Dean as he gets underway again. Love-Mom/Nana
