We enjoyed some pretty Fall weather (although a bit cool) yesterday by taking a nice long walk in our neighborhood. The boys were entertained by looking for pumpkins on the front porches and shouting, "Pumpkin!" This morning we met some mommy-friends at a Starbucks that used to be in a bank. We actually reserved the "vault" as a private room which was great with the kids and fun for the mommies! It was a "Grande" morning and I'm hoping Dean gets home early enough so I can go to the gym to help those calories off my person. (Zack's got a pretty yucky runny nose right now, or else I'd leave them in the child care there.) Fortified by my coffee break, we came
home and did a special project - finger-painting pumpkin pictures. It took longer for set-up and clean-up then the actual painting, but the boys loved it! Zack also did some face-painting and hair-painting (rubbed the picture on his face and head when he was done with the "finger" portion of the artwork). There's no picture of that b/c I was busy grabbing the painting out of his hands! Well, I'm off to fix dinner - meatloaf and mashed potatoes and some after-thought veggie (I'm terrible with the veggies). PS Thanks to Campbell's mommy and daddy for sending the cute pumpkin greeting - we all loved it!

What little artists you have there! I love the pumpkin paintings. And Campbell says you're welcome for the pictures!
Looks like fall has hit the Milne household. Just the mention of your mashed potatoes made me hungy and it is 8:30 in the morning. Guess I'll just have to eat my oatmeat and be satisfied. Love you guys-Nana
