My first call went out to my brother-in-law Rodney (married to my sister Emily, parent of Ethan and Macy) who used to be a Honda mechanic (extremely handy since we own 2 Hondas) regarding a recommendation from the service station for more service during a routine oil change today. Rodney advised that this particular service (fuel system cleaning or something like that) should be done and that he can do it for almost $50 less when I head to SC next week! I'm all for that!
My 2nd, 3rd and 4th calls went to my brother-in-law Robbie (married to Martha, daddy to Campbell) who is very knowledgeable about computers. I couldn't connect to the Internet most of the day and I had tried the several things (that I could remember) he and Dean had taught me in the past, but still no connection. This situation of lack of connectivity tends to make me a little frantic, but I remained calm, cool and collected (well, maybe just the calm part) while he talked me through a few more ideas. Finally, after disconnecting the power to the modem, router and computer, Internet connectivity was restored! I was very relieved, and so happy that he could help me!
I really appreciate their willingness to help out, and wanted to give a shout-out of love and gratitude to them this evening! Thanks, guys! (I haven't called Ryan, my sister-in-law's husband, yet today. Although I know he would also be glad to help me should the need arise.)
