Happy Easter

We had a busy but well-celebrated Easter this year! Wed-Fri last week was spent house-hunting which resulted in an accepted contract on the house in the last post. Friday night we dyed eggs, a Nana and Papa Milne tradition.

Saturday we had our Easter Eve party full of fun actitivities for the teams of a kid and their grown-up partner, a devotion for the children by Nana Milne, and a wonderful lunch. Thanks to the Ron Yoho family (our new neighbors) for hosting the eggstravaganza! Saturday evening Julie's sister Emily and her 2 children, Ethan and Macy, arrived to spend a few days with us. We had a great time! We all went to church on Sunday am - Praise the Lord for HE IS RISEN! Then we came home and ate a yummy Easter meal (except for the way-over-done ham). We enjoyed having Karen and Dave and their son, Charlie, also over for lunch. And for the Easter egg hunt we held after lunch in the back yard. There were tons of eggs, but Ethan was only allowed to find the green and camoflaged eggs that Uncle Dean hid. We had a lot of fun, and then a nice few hours of rest. The kids have had a great time playing with one another here.

We had a marathon day at Busch Gardens today - 10-7:30! We are all so exhausted! Emily, ethan, and macy are driving back tonight - hope and pray they are safe! We had so much fun with our visitors! I hope they'll come again soon in our new house!

I'll have to post the Busch Gardens for tomorrow. We got to ride alot of rides and it was fun!

What a great Easter celebration we had this year-it was so much fun to have all the grandkids together this year. I have been enjoying my dyed eggs each morning and thinking about the fun we had coloring those eggs. Great to hear that you had such a good time with Emily and the kids. Love-Mom/Nana
