Jacob's 3rd Birthday

We've had a busy birthday weekend! Yep, that's "weekend" - a day is not enough celebrating for birthdays in our family! Jacob's birthday was Friday, April 24th. We headed to Jacob's favorite place, Busch Gardens, starting the day with a Breakfast with Elmo event. Nana Milne joined us - she gave Jacob a season pass for his birthday. We got to see Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie, Bert and Ernie up close and had a yummy kid-friendly breakfast! Bert was my favorite b/c he did a special dance with Jacob when we told him it was Jacob's birthday. We had a fun day and were so pleased that the park finally was not crowded!

That evening we had a "Thomas" birthday cake (which Jacob had asked for which I assembled) and opened presents from Mommy and Daddy.

Jacob's birthday party was on Saturday at Bluebird Gap Farm. We started out with a horse race, then an "Animal Adventure" to go see the farm animals. It was hot day, but the kids had alot of fun! After our adventure, we had an early lunch and birthday cake. Jacob opened his gifts with some help from his friends :) and loved all of them. He received lots of fun games and activities that he's anxious to play with! Then the kids played on the playground! We were very happy to have so many friends come out to celebrate with us!
