Last night we went to the Brady's for a mini-reunion to visit with the St. Claire's. We had so much fun visiting with our and dear old friends (the Bradys, the St. Claires now from Savannah, the Wards, and one of the one of the Gabberts). It's very different though now that we all have children!

Auntie Lacey and the Yoho cousins - they got to watch the ceremony while the Milne boys played on the playground with a babysitter (thanks, Michelle!) Also, Auntie Tammy, cousin Shalia and Grandpa Yoho on the 2nd row.
Captain Milne's family
Today was a special day for Dean's dad (Papa). He assumed command of the Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown during a very nice change of command ceremony overlooking the river. What a beautiful day it was! Lots of family and friends were here for the event - both of HIS parents were here, both children, all of his grandchildren, and friends from as far away as RI! Grandpa Milne (who doesn't like to travel) even came out from Oregon! Bill has over 30 years in the USCG and we are very proud of him! Tonight, we had a fun dinner out on the patio with Bill and Martina, Grandpa Milne, and Barr and Ruth (those friends from RI). It's also Jacob's last night as a 2 year old and tomorrow we're going to his favorite place - Busch Gardens!

Great 4 generation picture, Julie. How precious. Sounds like you guys are having some big transitions soon--- we appreciate your "blogging" so we can keep up in this small way. Love, Laura
It was so generous of you to say that we Yohos watched the ceremony....really wejust watched the first 5 mintues and then we had to make a quick exit. We were pround of Abigail for sitting like such a grown up lady during the whole ceremony, though!
The rest of us watched fomr the steps of CAnfield Hall!!
What a nice blog about the Change of Command-it indeed was a fabulous day and one that will go down in the book as a very fond memory. Papa couldn't have been prouder to have so many of the family at the ceremony. Meant the world to us both. Love-Mom/Nana
That is such a great pic of all the Milne men! Hope all is well!
