Five on Friday: at 38 weeks

Here are the latest 5 reasons I love being a Mom:

1) Jacob: This past Sunday at church was Children's Sunday. They served as greeters and led the worship service for us. Jacob loves to sing and here is a video clip of him. (He's on the back left).

2) Zachary: He always has the sweetest prayers and is unafraid to tell his classmates about God and Jesus. His teacher is a strong Christian too and this just delights her as well.

Zack played Catcher in Monday night's baseball game.  He didn't mind crouching the whole time.  Good thing to be a little guy I guess!

3) Lydia: My mom/Nana Hopper came up this week to lend a hand. On Tuesday, she took Lydia out to breakfast. Lydia was sweet and fun, even when we later met up and went shopping. She would say things like, "Oh, Mom! Isn't this so cute?" (Opening up a wardrobe at Ikea.)



4) Eliza: This morning I asked Jacob to go get Zach up for Chess Club.  He asked if he should get all the kids up.  I said that was fine.  He came back downstairs with Eliza who he had helped out of the crib (I was completely caught off guard by this!).  These kids are getting too big!!

Balancing her muffin on her cup of milk - this was quite the game for her!  She was so pleased with herself!

5) Cinco: She is 38 weeks now. I honestly thought we'd meet her by now, but she has own time-table. With Mom here this week, I've been able to run errands and get some nesting done. The nursery is still occupied by Eliza, but we do have a plan to move the girls in together.  Soon.  Strangely enough, despite my Type A personality, this doesn't bother me.  I've learned that she won't care where she sleeps, as long as she is loved.  Although, not having her clothes in drawers will likely bug the fool out of me!

The kids can play peek-a-boo and hide under my belly...
