Friday Already??

It's Friday again, and all week I've been taking mental snapshots (and actual ones to help me remember!) of my kids to share today.  So here they are!

1) Jacob: For Mother's Day, he made me a sweet book about things he loved about me. For those of you not familiar with this - it's basically online Scrabble.  And if you misspell a word, you get to try again.  He loves this.

Also, another glimpse of his mind... Last night we went out to dinner with Nana.  Before we went to the restaurant, he had us look at the menu and wrote down our orders so we could get directly to ordering when we arrived and "not take so much time with that part".  It was pretty funny!

2) Zachary: He was "Star of the Day" on Monday and had to present a poster to his class about himself.  It was a lot of work, but I was impressed with his interest in completing it!  Everyday, he had been asking to get it done!

3) Lydia: Nana Hopper has been up this week helping out and waiting for baby's arrival.  So with nothing on the agenda except that, we've been out to walk the mall a couple of times.  We let Lydia push her baby in her stroller and she had a blast!

4) Eliza: It's been a tough week for her with a viral throat infection and teething, but I have to admit that I loved cuddling her when she felt so bad.  She is not a snuggler even at bedtime, but as Cinco's arrival gets closer, I got to "baby" her a bit.

I have one for the other 3, now my set is complete - for about a week!

She looks very cute in the Compton Cousins' outfit!

5) Cinco: We are 39 weeks now and everyday for the past 2 weeks, I've been saying "this could be the day!"  It's getting old now...  Since Eliza came early, I really thought she might also!  Mom has been up here frequently to help out and hopefully be here when she arrived.  But I've sent her home today yet again to get some rest.  (There's none of that here!)  We were really busy this week though.  Going through bins of hand-me-downs from my sister, and starting to rearrange the rooms to make room for baby, in addition to all of the everyday stuff that goes on around here!  Thank you, Mom!!

Room rearranging has begun.  Finally.

I love seeing them wear the hand-me-downs! It makes me feel better about spending money on them when I see them on your girls! ;) Those outfits have gotten lots of use!

Plus, Nana bought a lot of them, anyway, lol!
