Five on Friday has made it back! And on Friday this time. Kids are in bed. I think. I know Eliza is, but I'm too tired to check on the others. So while my swollen feet are propped up, I thought I'd do some blogging!
1) "
Cinco": I promised some belly shots, and on Sunday I met with a new local photographer and had some maternity shots taken. I'm now 37 weeks. I've decided that I should start that "nesting" thing people talk about (since Eliza came during my 37th week). What it looks like so far: Dean and I ruling out each other's baby name ideas, washing the infant seat, getting ready for a yard sale, and folding lots and lots of laundry (for the rest of my crew). Tonight I looked at my belly in the mirror and thought, "Oh my gosh! There's a tiny human in there!"

2)
Zachary: We are working on a poster project for kindergarten and one of the topics is "what do you want to be when you grow up". At first he said "doctor", then he changed it to "football player". "Because football players make the most money." Hmm... I didn't get into the Risk/Benefit analysis of this decision at this point...

Eliza: she is a mess... literally! Daddy bought an ice cream cone just for her at the DQ last night. She liked it. But she kept asking me for mine: "I want a bite." Hello! You have your own!! (Don't worry, I gave her a bite.)
4)
Lydia: We went to Target this morning at 8am after dropping the boys off at the school Chess Club. We never go out this early, but it turns out that my kids are angels at that time and the store is Empty then too. Go figure... well-rested, full tummies. It was fun! This picture reminds me of my Compton nieces. :)

5)
Jacob: We went to his First Grade Program last night, "Goin' Buggy". He was a Firefly. The kids did a great job singing and reciting their lines. I wish I had a picture of Jacob's expression when he was dancing a boogy up on stage. It was a cross between silly and embarrassed I think.

| Here's an action shot from his birthday party. He loves football! |

| A "Jacob" expression, not quite like the one last night but it makes me smile. |
