5 on Friday: VBS 2013

We've had VBS at our church this week, and it's a busy and exhausting week!  I volunteered on the Snack Team for the 4th year now, while the kids went to VBS.  We also went to 2 baseball games - 1 minor league and 1 major - and Daddy's softball game.  Did I mention that we were tired?  And that my laundry and dishes and kitchen counter are begging for some attention? I love my busy life though, and those chores can wait until tomorrow...

1) Eliza: She's had a hard week at VBS.  Her teachers worked really hard to help her have fun, many days she spent time with my besties (Sarah and Cory) and she was always found with her paci and Pooh bear.  So I was especially glad when I got pics of her sweet smile this week...

I think this was her favorite activity, music, and I'm told she's sitting here bouncing to the music.

2) Zachary: He's also had alot of fun this week at VBS.  His favorite moments have been dancing to the music in the VBS worship time and giving money to Missions.

3) Anna: She's had a great week at VBS.  I left her in the nursery most of the week, because it was pretty warm outside where we were serving snacks.  She slept most of the time.  As she did at the P-Nats game...

4) Jacob: He's a great big brother!

"Mom, would you like me to hold Anna while you fix our dinner?"

5) Lydia: She's outgoing and friendly.

"Mommy, this is my friend Abbie."
VBS Family Night

Out of the blue, she did this little bit and I just laughed out loud and made her do it for the camera! (short video)

Anna's thinking: "What is she doing here during our morning snuggles,  Mommy?"
Mommy's thinking: "Please go back to sleep both of you because it's 6:45 on Saturday morning..."
