5 on Friday - and it's actually Friday!

Here's another edition of my 5 kids on Friday!  I'm hopeful to get it actually published on Friday.  I mean, it is only 9:30 am.  How many distractions could I have today??  Well, we'll see...

1) Jacob:  When offered the option between going to Sunday School or going to the Worship Service with us, he consistently chooses the worship.

Jacob singing worship songs

Goofball face at breakfast!

2) Zachary:  "I fell in love with someone in my class already!" (Gianna) Me: "What you're too young for that!" Zack: "I may look too small, but I'm not too young!" Me: *sigh*

How can she resist?

And Zack's goofball face...
3) Lydia: One morning this week she announced to me, "I'm going to make my own breakfast!  ALL BY MYSELF, I SAID!"
She made cheese toast...

I'm trying to make more "Fun Mommy" time - ie, not get caught up in only doing chores like laundry or grocery shopping.  So one day we went for a walk in the wagon and checked out this small, but recently renovated playground near our house.

4) Eliza: She's still adjusting to being a big sister...  I have made it out and about with the 3 littles a few times.  Eliza prefers to go "piggy-back" in the store.  Which is good because I know the value of "containment" when I'm out with several children!

Another "Mommy Fun" time - an outing to a weekly summer Children's Entertainment series at a local shopping center.  Eliza really loved dipping her hands and feet in the fountain!

5) Anna: She's still just as sweet and precious as she was last week!  At her 2 week check up, she still didn't quite make it back up to her birth weight (she was only 8lb - has 6 more ounces to go), so we have to go back in next week for a weight check.  Everything else is perfect and she's nursing well, so I'm not worried.
Vintage Anna: she wore my dress to church on Sunday!
