Capital Christmas

Thursday night the Milnes and the Yohos went downtown to the National Botanical Gardens to see their train display. It was awesome! I can't capture on photo how impressive and large it was! The kids were amazed!

Yesterday, Dean and I took the boys to Annapolis, MD to meet up with Dean's friend (and best man) Paul Theriot and his wife Katie. It was very cold, so we bundled up!

Now we are fighting illnesses and had to postpone some family Christmas plans (supposed to happen tonight). Our cousins, Uncle Ryan, and Papa Milne have been afflicted with a GI bug and this afternoon the boys were running a fever (an upper respiratory infection, in my opinion). The plans have been rescheduled for tomorrow night when we are hoping to all be healthy!

Dean has interviews for special assignment jobs tomorrow and Tuesday since he did not get the military aide job (although he made it to the final round). Please pray that all will go smoothly and that we'll hear about those soon!
