Congratulations to our friends, Josh and Katie, who have a new baby boy, Gavin. They came home from the hospital today, and we invited ourselves over for a visit! He's precious! We didn't bring a meal to them, but we did bring nacho cheese dip and chips... It was Sunday afternoon football, afterall! 
After our visit with them, we went to a local park that offers a drive through, "Celebration in Lights" for Christmas. The boys really enjoyed looking at all of the different displays. Does anyone in my family remember going to PTL to see their Christmas lights? What a fun memory!
We are trying to get ourselves ready to head out of town for the holidays - 11 days until Christmas! Dean and I are both working on projects that we don't have time for - in addition to our already huge to-do list! (Dean is working with an electric saw and I've got the sewing machine running!)

I remember PTL! They had the best Christmas lights. We took the kids to McAdenville this year and it just wasn't the same. Too bad the Baker's had to be shut down. :(

I remember PTL too! I can't remember if the Needham / Hoppers did it together or seperate, but i do remember driving for (what seemed like) miles and miles, just looking at the lights!
