"Happy Birthday, Jesus!"

Nana and Papa's Christmas story time (read by Abigail and Elizabeth)
My sister-in-law and I are really bummed by the fact that our kids have been so sick this Christmas! But we medicate and move on! The boys are still sick with fever, cough, conjunctivitis and runny noses. (Apologies to Todd and Diana for any sharing of germs today! They seemed to be doing a little better this morning, so I didn't cancel our fun.) Other Christmas news: we have our annual letter written, so you should see it soon!

Last night we celebrated Christmas with Dean's family. We shared prime rib and cheesy potatoes and exchanged gifts. The roller skates were a big hit!

This morning we had a birthday party for Jesus. First, we decorated ginger-bread trains. Then the kids hunted for wrapped up nativity pieces and we had a story-time about Christ's birth. After that we wrapped (Hershey) kisses up to give baby Jesus, then sang "Happy Birthday" and ate our cupcakes. Fun!
