Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Mariner team spirit, thanks to Grandma Eckroth! Jacob hiding giraffes under shirt so Papa can't find them!
Dean flew to Miami on Wednesday for a meeting and then stayed over until this afternoon for a commissioning service for one for his former officers on the Legare who went to take command of a new 87' patrol boat out of Miami. There's an article below that I found on line:
He called in to stay that he is stuck in Atlanta for the night because of a delay getting off the plane. He won't get home until tomorrow am! Bummer on his birthday! We are have a small family lunch with cupcakes and gifts after church - can't wait!
I(Julie) took the boys to DC yesterday for an overnight trip. THanks to Nana and Papa for letting us invade and for watching them, while I ran errands and went to Diana's baby shower! They loved playing and especially running around Auntie Lacey's house with the Yoho cousins!

Jacob, are you sure that Nana can't have one of your giraffe's? Papa and I loved the fact that you drove up to have an overnighter at our house. Happy Birthday, Dean. Hopefully you made it out of Atlanta and you are home getting the million kisses that I gave to Jacob to give to his daddy for me. Love you all-Nana/Mom
