Has it almost been a week since my last post?

Jacob found the racetrack that Grandma gave him for Christmas so we put it together this evening and they loved it!

Little news tidbits from the Milnes this past week:

1) Jacob's potty-training is going very well. No diapers this year! And only a few minor accidents!

2) Skipper got a bath! (Papa will be especially happy to hear this!)

3) I (Julie) went to a Creative Memories digital scrapbooking demonstration at my friend Shelby's. I found it very interesting from a time-saving, yet scrapbook-producing standpoint. It's rather expensive to publish the books, so I've been doing a bit of research on what else is available out there. If you have any input on this, I'd appreciate it! I have renewed my efforts in the past few days to do traditional scrapbooking and have churned out 7 or 8 pages. I'm working my way through Jacob's 11th month of life... Only 2 years behind now!

Zachary demonstating a little creative streak...

4) We went to the Legare's Christmas party on Friday night. Kids were welcome and they had a magician show. The boys behaved very well and we had a nice time visiting with Dean's shipmates and their families.

5) Dean won't hear about his job interview until after 1/29.
6) Julie is considering a request to work at the free clinic one day a week. There are several details to research, with the biggest one being finding childcare for the boys.

Zachary loves piggyback rides!

check out scrapblog.com. I've been looking into doing one for Campbell on there and it doesn't look too terribly expensive.

It is fun just hearing about regular family life at the Milne house. Great picture of you and Zachary getting a piggy back ride. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday. Love Mom/Nana

Julie- I am going to be an "old-fashioned" scrapbooker-- something about the hands-on aspect of it seems much more creative to me than the digital route. I have a great idea for kids books after the first year, I'll email you more if you're interested:) Your kids are so cute, thanks for keeping up your blog...don't let anymore weeks pass by w/o a post;)
