Home Improvement has commenced!

While we don't have orders yet, we are anticipating a transfer this summer. So with this in our (near!) future, we have decided to start getting our house ready to sell. Our friend Debi Warren, a realtor, very graciously came over this morning and ignored our untidiness while she walked through it and gave us tips on how we should prioritize our home projects.

Here's where we're starting:
We are starting with painting the dark paneling and trim in our living room/playroom. Here's a nearly-before picture - with our furniture pushed to the center of the room. Dean did move the TV into the red room during this painting adventure.

Let the home repairs begin---Dad is a bit a head of you as he has already painted out the Pooh room (I know that you are sad to hear that the bold fuscia is gone), painted the powder room (again that lovely pink is gone and almost a bit to plain for even Dad),and he has completed the fireplace project. Think we are almost ready to put it online for rent. Happy painting to you-Mom

I'm pretty sure the boys would love to help with the painting! Maybe you'll love it so much you decide to stay there. Hope you have fun and a splatter-free time. Love, Mom/Nana
