Happy New Year!

New Year's Eve for the Milne's included traveling 7 hours back to their home in VA yesterday and unpacking. Rather uneventful, which sometimes is a blessing! These past few days have included Zachary still feeling sick, our nephew Silas being hospitalized for 2 nights, and my sister's house being broken into over the holidays. While we wished we could have been healthier for this holiday season, it was a joyous time celebrating the birth of Christ with family. Now we look forward to what 2009 will bring and wish you all a happy and healthy New Year!

I posted the picture from the football game on our anniversary b/c it was a better picture, but Dean wanted me to post this pic from our anniversary dinner, too...
7th anniversary - Capital Grille - Charlotte, NC

We were able to enjoy some beautiful SC sunshine before we left. Jacob rode his bike around the walking trail twice!

On the last day before leaving the Hopper's, Zachary started to feel just a bit better so we took our germs to the park. He's still not eating well and had alot of coughing last night, but I think he's on the mend!

Happy New Year-Dad and I actually stayed up late enough to watch the ball drop in Time Square-the last time we were up to bring in the New Year was in 2000. We are so glad that you made it home safely and that Zachary is starting to feel better. We look forward to seeing what God brings into our lives in 2009. Love all of you lots and lots-Mom/Nana
