Picture Puzzle

Jacob and Zachary beside Jacob's tall tower! Way to go!

For those of you who have been to our house, you've seen our "picture puzzle" (as I described it to Jacob today) that we put together every year with the photos we receive in the mail. We love these photos and they serve as a daily reminder of our dear friends and family. I had decided to not put them up this year as I think they contribute to the appearance of "clutter" our kitchen and we're trying to de-clutter since we'll probably be selling our house this spring. But I couldn't stand the emptiness of my huge white fridge and it only lasted about an hour. So, here is the happily cluttered result:

Following today's tower building incident Jacob and Zach have been separated to separate rooms within the home and can no longer fluently speak the same language. Jacob has reverted to poor gramer, improperly tensed english and Zach has taken up inaubible grunts, groans and half-words ... life lessons from Genesis.

I love the picture puzzle. You have lots of time to clear up clutter before you put the house on the market-for now it is still your home and as such should always have a picture puzzle. I had just read the story of the
Tower of Babel in my daily readings and so I laughed out loud as I read Dean's comment to this blog. Love you guys lots-Mom/Nana

I'm in complete denial that you are moving this year. I got so sad when I read your blog.
