This is early for me ... but it was a no nap day for Jacob. And an incomplete nap day for Zack, since Big Brother woke him up ... he couldn't stand playing alone!
I broke down and took Zack into see the doctor today. His old doc closed her practice while we were in SC, so we went to see my friend from residency, Joy. Actually, we saw a bunch of old friends since she now works at the residency program. It was great to see my nurse, Leslie (who better be checking this :) since I gave her the web address today) and Margie and all the nurses, docs, and office staff (especially Marionette who scheduled an appt so quickly for me) that I used to work with! Oh, and Zack has his first ear infection. :(
I dragged the kids around to a half dozen places before we saw the doctor, and one of the rewards was the Merry-Go-Round at KMart. It was only a quarter! You may not realize, but those rides are getting really expensive!
We'd like to let Hannah know that we're thinking about her! We were sad to hear that she broke her elbow and has to have surgery - and just days before our beach vacation!
We also hope Grandma and Grandpa Jerry have a safe road trip (they're already across the country!) and a great visit with family and friends on their travels!
Now I'm off to get some chores done ... they somehow don't get done with a 1 year old and 2 year old clinging to me!

I think that you should just drive up and drop Skipper off with Donald for the week-he wouldn't charge you a dime for the week. Love-Mom
Hey Julie...If the student stays at your house I say stock the fridge with some food for them to eat for the week and then pay them like $30-$40 for the week. Dog Sitting out here in CA is CRAZY expensive so the trusted college student and some food and a little cash is nice for them...and great for dogs :) Have a nice trip!

If your still looking for a dog sitter or suggestions. My daughter Beth has been working at the SPCA this summer and loves to babysit and take care of pets. She would be more than happy to watch Skipper for you if you are interested call her at home 867-8430.

Jules, how many times did I have to tell you that I would just take Skipper home with me after you left South Carolina last time?! You know I love that dog and think he is so sweet, and poor fella, he just gets lost in ths shuffle with Jacob and Zack running around. But NOOOO... you wouldn't take me seriously. I don't know why??? I mean, I MIGHT have given him back to you some day. That would have been okay, right? Oh, well... Just kidding!!!
