Thank you God for BIRTHDAY CAKE!

This wasn't the first thing we prayed for, but it did make the list!

*Auntie Lacey doing story time for her kids that we invaded!*

We've had a busy day following our night without sleep. We went swimming in the pool, played with the kids (there are 8 kids 5 years and younger), celebrated our cousin James' birthday with a Thomas the Train party, rode bikes, played some more with the kids and now it's bedtime. Jacob's in my bed and Zack's in the other room. So far, Jacob's still acting like a wild man.

I talked with Dean today who is in Roatan, Honduras for a port call. Our connection wasn't great so it wasn't easy to converse. He sent me an email though about their night last night, sounds like they had a great official welcome from the local dignitaries and ate dinner with the mayor and police chief!

I'm having trouble with my email here in the OBX, so don't fret if I'm a little out of contact via email. I hope this post, though, will be successful!
*Good night, Moon!*

Looks like fun! Jacob will probably calm down about Friday. I hope the parents get some rest too but sounds like ya'll are outnumbered by the "under 5s". Glad to hear Dean's doing well and am sure he'd rather be at the beach with you.
