Jacob made this statement several times today - when he woke up this morning and he got out of bed to look for me, during naptime when he left his room to pee in the potty, and again tonight when I got home during bedtime. It brings a range of emotions: happy laughter, resignation, frustration, and happy laughter again. This morning was a difficult one, especially with Zack being under the weather, so I had "Me Time" many thanks to my Aunt Diane and my Visa card! My retail therapy hit its maximum effectiveness at the Hobby Lobby, then I was ready to conquer the world again. So I had about 30 minutes with the boys, then I was off again to play Bunko with the Girls! The boys did great with Diane and I am so thankful that she came out to help Mom and Dad with them. Thanks to Karen for inviting me - I enjoyed meeting everyone including a gal, Marie, that I went to high school with! I'd love to come back as a sub in the future. The 3 Hopper girls present were in the roll-off at the end, but it was Emily who was the Bunko champion!

The boys were still awake when I got home. I got Zack up who was still crying and he started exploring and seems to want to be sleeping in a water bed. He was getting really cozy in that little bath tub! I checked in on Jacob to hear from him, "Mommy, Jacob's awake!!!" So we spent a few minutes together, then I got up to leave and Jacob was still telling me, "Jacob awake, Mommy!" I just closed the door and told him "Jacob needs to go to sleep now!". Thankfully he did!

Praise God for sweet faces that speak sweet little words when mommies are tired!! I can't want to hear Jacob chatting at the beach!
