Grandpa Eckroth's funeral was held today in Seattle. We send our love to our family who are there in Seattle to celebrate his life. We send special hugs and kisses to Grandma Eckroth, Nana and Papa. We love your very much!

Joseph Frank ECKROTH Joseph was born to Valentine and Anna Eckroth, October 12, 1924 in Mandan, ND; passed away August 17, 2008 in Kent, WA at the age of 83. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Ed. He was the loving husband of Alma Eckroth; father of Marlene (Tim) Vranna of Redmond, WA, Darryl (Traci) Eckroth of Auburn, WA, Connie (Russ) Vranna of Kent, Denice (Jim) Gregory of White Center, WA, Valerie (Kenny) Barkie of Williston, ND, Martina (William) Milne of Woodbridge, VA, and Joseph F. (Karen) Eckroth Jr. of Huntington Beach, CA; grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 22; brother of Connie Keller of AR and Delores Sharp of Portland, OR. An Inurnment Service will be Friday, August 22, 2008, 10:00 AM at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA, followed by a Memorial Mass August 22, 2008, 11:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Memorials may go to the Knights of Columbus c/o the church.
