It's a Zoo Out There!

I packed up the boys and drove to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC today - about 1 1/2 hours from Mom and Dad's. Once we made it out of the house (an ordeal in itself), we had a great time! We saw alot of animals, made alot of animals sounds - Zack was especially fond of the monkeys and made monkey noises, watched the gorillas eat lettuce, saw a diver feed fish (more lettuce) in an aquarium, rode a train and a carousel, ate ice cream and fed the goats. The goat feeding was pretty interesting. Jacob's getting a little more cautious, but fed them one piece at a time and loved it. Zack observed this intently, and finally was able to feed one piece also to the goats (without dropping the food or having it confiscated by Jacob). We spent over 3 hours there and were thoroughly exhausted by the time we got back to the van! It was alot of fun!
