Another Warmoth-Campbell Family Reunion has come and gone already! It is our time to catch up and meet new family members and celebrate the old ones. And we have some old ones! Grandma's (paternal grandmother) siblings and their offspring have been reuniting in Chester, SC for over 30 years now. She was one of 12 children of James and Fannie Bell (Campbell) Warmoth. 2 children died in early childhood, so she essentially grew up as 1 of 10 kids! 3 sibs have passed away, leaving 7: Louis (over 90!), Bobby, Grandma (Juanita), Peggy, Margie, Jack and Lorene - who were all in attendance today! Grandma had the largest group of family there, while Aunt Margie traveled the farthest (of the siblings) from Ft. Meyers, FL. We missed seeing her husband, Frank, who usually travels with her! There were 2 new babies here this year: Callie Grace Gibson who is almost 1 year old and Campbell Ann Compton who is 6 months old today! Robbie had a fun Jeopardy game set up, although my team didn't do as well as the one my Dad was on! (I think my Dad was Robbie's prime history resource, so he had an unfair advantage. Or Robbie has spent ALOT of time with my dad!) All in all, we had a nice visit with the kin and I hope we can do it again next year!Oh, and this is Jacob's first night in his BIG BOY BED! We'll keep you posted on how that turns out. He's singing "Jesus Loves Me" right now that I can hear of the monitor. So sweet!
